Well at least the new kennels are finished...ish! Ok so we're missing a wall... and some roof... and a lot of bolts and door handles but they're usable. And ok so we could really do with some lights in there.. and the air conditioning unit up and running... and a floor... but whose complaining??? The dogs have already moved in and have their own fans so they're not too bothered by the lack of a/c in there. Now the only problem is getting from one end of the corridor to the other without tripping over fan wires, dog crates, air conditioning units, hammers, wood and a whole manner of other things that shouldn't normally be found in a rescue kennels!
It's slightly depressing when you take the time, money and effort to build 12 new kennels to find them full within 24 hours of not really being finished. Having shifted around the dogs we already have they're full - and we still have 4 dogs living in the cat cabin! Not sure how we managed to fill them but oh well - time to start looking at the next block I guess. But maybe we should finish these ones first....
